At Hall Builders Inc., we believe in building more than homes—we’re committed to building a stronger, more connected community. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor the San Luis Obispo High School FFA (Future Farmers of America)program through SLO Aggie Backers, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders in San Luis Obispo County.

The FFA motto says it all: "Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve." These aren’t just words—they’re the foundation of a program that helps students grow in knowledge, leadership, and purpose.

SLO FFA Program Members

Why It Matters

Agriculture is deeply rooted in the Central Coast, and the FFA program at SLO High plays a vital role in continuing that legacy. With over one million active members nationwide, the National FFA Organization empowers students to develop hands-on experience in ag-based industries while building essential leadership and career skills.

At the local level, SLO Aggie Backers bridges the gap between the classroom and the community by encouraging involvement from students, parents, teachers, and businesses. Their support ensures that students have access to the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to succeed.

Our Commitment to San Luis Obispo County

As a local general contractor, we see the value of investing in programs that help young people develop practical skills and a sense of service. These students represent the future of agriculture in San Luis Obispo County—a future rooted in responsibility, sustainability, and innovation.

Through our sponsorship, we’re proud to support:

  • Agriculture education and enrichment opportunities

  • Student leadership development

  • Community engagement and outreach

  • Continued access to career pathways in the trades and agricultural sectors

Get Involved

Whether you’re a parent, alumni, or fellow local business, we encourage you to learn more about the incredible work happening in the SLO FFA Chapter. These students are future farmers, veterinarians, conservationists, engineers, and community leaders—and they’re worth investing in.
